Robby Gordon Motorsports has named Frank Kerr to be crew chief for Robby Gordon's No. 7 Sprint Cup team in 2008.
Kerr recently left Michael Waltrip Racing.
Gordon may not be the driver for his team during the upcoming test session at Daytona International Speedway, though. The driver is making his annual trek to compete in the Dakar Rally and could still be involved in that event when testing begins at Daytona on Jan. 7.
