Officials from The Milwaukee Mile say Sprint Cup driver and Wisconsin native Matt Kenseth will return to the track Aug. 24 to defend his victory in the Wisconsin All-Star 100.

The Super Late Model race is part of the track's Governor's Cup weekend.

"Matt really enjoyed himself last year, and we're delighted for our fans that he's committed to racing again against some of the finest Super Late Model drivers at The Milwaukee Mile," Milwaukee Mile Chairman Craig Stoehr said. "We're building our Governor's Cup weekend by bringing together the top short track talent in the country while keeping it affordable for a family to spend the weekend watching four great divisions of stock car racing."

RK Race Promotions, operated by Kenseth's father, Roy, will again promote the event. The company is also offering a special hospitality package that includes a 400-level ticket and a private hospitality area with a question and answer session with Matt Kenseth.
