AVONDALE, Ariz. - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie Andy Lally has been released from an area hospital following a hard accident during the Casino Arizona 150 on Friday night at Phoenix International Raceway.

Lally, who was competing in his second career race for The Racer's Group, was collected by a sliding Stacy Compton and hit the inside wall on the frontstretch so hard that it cracked the concrete part of the wall.

Lally was awake and alert and was going to be held overnight for observation but was released early Saturday morning.
