HAMPTON, GA. - Team owner Larry McClure says that his team will be back in NASCAR Cup racing next season, but he has yet to finalize his plans.
McClure has two more years of sponsorship from State Water Heaters, but is looking for additional sponsorship for about 15 races.
"We just need something else to come with them and we'll be fine," he said.
He has not named a driver for next season. Ward Burton has been driving for the team this season.
"I guess we're considering our options," he said. "We still don't have firm sponsorship for the complete season. When we do, then we'll be seriously talking to some people. We've talked to some people, including Ward. It's kind of unclear right now."
What is clear?
"We plan on being here," he said.
