Bill Davis Racing announced today that Bobby Santos III will run a combination of 15 ARCA and NASCAR Busch Series events in 2007.

Santos is scheduled to compete in 10 ARCA Re/Max races in the No. 02 machine, in addition to five Busch Series races.

"Keeping an eye out for young talent has become an important part of every race team, and we think Bobby has a good future ahead of him in this sport," team owner Bill Davis said. "We're looking forward to working with him to build his skills in a stock car and get him ready for even bigger things in the future. He was impressive in his first outing with us, and I think it will be interesting to see what he can do next year."

Santos, 21, debuted with the team in the October ARCA race at Iowa Speedway, where he finished sixth.

"I'm really looking forward to this opportunity," Santos said. "This is my first chance to race stock cars, and I can't think of a better place to start than Bill Davis Racing. ... I've raced my whole life, and this is the opportunity that I've been waiting for."

In 2006, Santos competed in the open-wheel ranks, winning 11 USAC features, including five national races.
