Kenseth tops final Busch practice chart

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Matt Kenseth paced the final Busch Series practice at Homestead-Miami Speedway, turning a lap of 173.589 mph in his Roush Racing Ford.
Brian Vickers was second-fastest at 173.449 mph in his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, while Kraig Kinser was third at 173.210 mph. Kinser is attempting to make his Busch Series debut for MB2 Motorsports.
Sam Hornish Jr. was fourth, with Kasey Kahne fifth as drivers prepare for Saturday's Ford 200.
Juan Pablo Momtoya was 26th but scraped the wall late in the session. The damage was minimal, and the Chip Ganassi Racing crew was working to repair the No. 42 Dodge.
Regan Smith crashed in the practice and will go to a backup Team Rensi Motorsports Ford. D.J. Kennington also wrecked but his MacDonald Motorsports crew was trying to fix the damage.
Trevor Boys had engine trouble, and Brett Rowe crashed.
Qualifying for the Ford 300 is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, with the race set for 7:10 p.m.
