LOUDON, N.H. - David Reutimann met with Burger King executives Tuesday but says he has no idea if he will drive the No. 00 Burger King/Domino's Pizza car for Michael Waltrip Racing in the Nextel Cup Series in 2007.

"The meeting seemed to go well," Reutimann said Friday morning at New Hampshire International Speedway. "It's really hard to tell. I kind of find myself leaving these meetings probably knowing less than I did when I went.

"There are some decisions to be made by the higher powers, and I am not in on that decision-making process."

The 36-year-old Reutimann, third in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings driving for Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, already knows he will run full time in the Busch Series next year for Michael Waltrip.

All he is waiting for is word whether he will run any Nextel Cup races as part of the first year of the Toyota Camry program.

"It's not like I'm out of work if this doesn't happen, which is a good situation to be in," he said. "I'd like to do the Cup deal, but I've got to concentrate on the truck races that we've got left this year and am really looking forward to the Busch Series next year.

"If this doesn't happen, I still get to run a full season of Busch. It's not a bad deal. But I'm not going to worry about it because I don't want it to affect the other stuff I'm trying to do right now."
