JOLIET, Ill. - Shane Huffman will make his debut with JR Motorsports in the Busch Silver Celebration 250 at Gateway International Raceway on July 29.

Joe Nemechek's inactive Busch team will provide the car for Huffman, who currently drives for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Hooters Pro Cup team.

"We have a unique situation with Joe Nemechek to work with his equipment," Earnhardt Jr. said. "Right now, the facility we're in is just down the road from Joe. We've worked hand-in-hand on several things, as far as painting cars and what-not. That's been a good relationship."

Earnhardt Jr. hopes to field two full-time Busch Series teams in 2007, one for current driver Mark McFarland and a second for Huffman. Earnhardt Jr. also wants Huffman to run four or five more Busch races later this year.

Earnhardt Jr. also said he's hired Martin Truex Jr.'s cousin, Curtis Truex, to driver Late Model Stock cars.

"Martin [Truex] Sr. said he's every bit as good as Martin, so we're lucky to get him," Earnhardt Jr. said.
