Attorneys for Casey Atwood and FitzBradshaw Racing have informed a U.S. District Court judge in Tennessee that they have settled their dispute out of court, according to documents filed with the court.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The case was scheduled to go to trial July 25th in Nashville, Tenn.
Atwood, who drove in the Busch Series for about half of the 2003 season and most of the 2004 season for FBR, had sued the team, asking for $390,000 in salary, prize money and travel expenses as well as an undetermined amount in souvenir royalties and incentive compensation.
