CONCORD, N.C. - Ware Racing has entered a No. 30 Dodge with driver Mike Wallace in Saturday's Nextel Open at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

The number coincides with sponsor pro30.com, a loan service.

"We're hoping to make [Wallace] happy here and convince him to drive some more for us," team owner Rick Ware said. "We'll see how it plays out."

Wallace said he anticipates continuing to race for Phoenix Racing in the Busch Series at least through the Daytona race in July and will see what happens with Ware Racing.

"We know we're going to make the Open, and we'll evaluate and see where it goes from there," Wallace said. "Deals like this can be a lot more fun because not a lot is expected. ... You have a group of guys that just want to race."

The Ware Racing team will not compete next weekend in the Coca-Cola 600 but has plans to run both Cup races at Dover with driver Donnie Neuenberger and both Cup races at New Hampshire with Ted Christopher.

Christopher, a well-known Busch North and Modified driver, will bring sponsorship from QualityMetric. Neuenberger will bring sponsorship from Plan B Technologies.
