Dodge teams planning a joint test at Kentucky Speedway on Monday had to postpone the session due to snow in the area.
Originally, drivers from Evernham Motorsports, Penske Racing South, Chip Ganassi Racing and Petty Enterprises planned to test together in an attempt to come to a consensus as to what changes can be made to the 2005 Charger to make it competitive while racing in traffic. The owners have yet to determine a new date for the test.
So far, the four major Dodge organizations have yet to come to an agreement, which hindered attempts to get a change from NASCAR. As of now, Penske Racing South is expected to field 2004 Dodge Intrepids at California Speedway and Las Vegas this season.
In the season finale at Homestead last year, Penske's Ryan Newman and Evernham's Kasey Kahne drove '04 Dodge Intrepids in an attempt to see how they handled compared to the Chargers they'd used all season.
Once a decision is reached, Dodge is expected to submit a new nose to NASCAR to see if it will be approved for this season.
