DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Pierre Kuettel has taken over as crew chief for Roush Racing's No. 60 Busch Series Ford driven by Carl Edwards. Kuettel is replacing Brad Parrott.

Kuettel, car chief for Edwards' No. 99 Nextel Cup team, worked with the Busch team Monday during preseason testing at Daytona International Speedway.

Bob Osborne, Edwards' Nextel Cup crew chief, will also help with the Busch team for the first few races of 2006.

"It's a shock to me," Edwards said. "As a friend, I want Brad to get a job tomorrow, but as a competitor, I'd hate to have to race against him." Parrott helped Edwards to five victories in 2005 and a third-place finish in the Busch Series points standings.

"I talked to Brad at pretty great length last night," Edwards said. "Brad and I have never had a cross word. I was over at his house with the whole crew the other night. I believe it was just differing opinions over the best way to do things at the shop."
