Holy cow! Can you feel the adrenaline? We fans haven’t even seen the first “official” race of the season and already the action on and off the track has been tremendous.
Starting with the Tony Stewart/ Kurt Busch tango … a little bumping and blocking followed by a meeting where fiery things are rumored to have happened. I love it.
Fast forward to the Budweiser Shootout. The beloved Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins in his new Cup ride pushed by his new Cup teammate. I could feel the intensity of the crowd radiate through my television screen as he crossed the finish line. No doubt throngs of Junior followers were celebrating far into the night … and probably still are. Awesome!
Jimmie Johnson on the pole and Gatorade Duals just around the corner- I don’t know about you but I am coming out of my skin just itching to see what Sunday holds. This year is off to a wild start and I think it is exactly what we fans have been clamoring for. It has been way too long since I have felt this pumped about the start of a new season and man does it feel good. Bring it on … bring it all on!
