At the movies

Mar 24
Have you been to the theater lately? I just took three preteen girls to go see a G-rated Disney flick. After enduring several previews for movies which I have zero desire to see, a commercial played that completely caught me off guard.

Showing right there, bigger than big, was the Coke Zero ad featuring tons of Sprint Cup drivers. Although it was not the first time I had seen the commercial, it was definitely a completely different experience viewing it on the big screen.

Thankfully, the theater was dark, so no one actually has proof I spewed soda out of my nose while hysterically laughing at the final dialogue with Tony Stewart.  It was a good commercial to start with, but at the movies it was even better.

Maybe it was the popcorn, or maybe the fact I was about to be tortured with a shallow-plotted movie about teenage angst, but whatever the reason that NASCAR commercial was funny.  Now if I could only watch the race each week on the big screen, that would be awesome.

I loved this! I also saw this same commercial this past weekend at the movies. I embarrassed my 8-yr. old by laughing so loud at this commercial!! Keep up the good work, Carolyn! Love your articles!
