How to spend 600 miles

May 23
CONCORD, N.C. – Six things to do while watching the Coca-Cola 600 on TV. After all, it is a long race:

Miles 1-100: Count and see whether Fox mentions Digger more times it mentions than Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Miles 101-200: Every time Fox shows a car ask yourself, “Do I think the driver will be in that same ride next year?” You’ll be surprised
how many times you say no.

Miles 201-300: Write down all the things you would yell at Kyle Busch during driver introductions at the next race you go to.

Miles 301-400: Debate among your friends whether the race should be 600 miles or 500 miles. If you get done early, debate the rules of the all-star race from the week before.

Miles 401-500: Use your remote to flip away during the commercials. You won’t miss anything – the commercials probably are all repeats from the first half of the telecast.

Miles 501-600: Watch the race. It could be an exciting final 100 miles.

Enjoy 600 miles. Hope this guide helps.
