Don't write off Busch yet

Aug 7
Some people might wonder about Kyle Busch after a 15th-place finish at Indianapolis and a 36th-place finish at Pocono. He has finished outside the top 10 in five of his last eight races, not exactly championship numbers.

Should Kyle Busch fans be worried?

Nah.

Two of those bad races came at Indianapolis and Pocono, and there’s no track in the Chase For The NASCAR Sprint Cup like those two. About the only bad result he should be worried about is New Hampshire, where he finished 25th and was out to lunch at the facility that will host the first Chase race.

After the struggles at New Hampshire, Busch won the next two events. At least he knows how to regain his rhythm and put on a driving display in the weeks that follow a frustrating outing.

The next three weeks will tell if Busch has already peaked this season. The series heads to a road course (he’s already won the other road-course race this year), then to Michigan (where he won the pole in June) and then to Bristol (where he won in 2007).

So don’t jump off the Busch bandwagon just yet. It’s still got some steam in it.

Busch will continue all of the success that he has had this season. I cannot wait to see him win some more races! Go on Kyle and take that bow. :)

"GO KYLE, GO KYLE, GO KYLE", My wife has her own "Go Kyle" dance every weekend in front of the TV. Then she looks at me and sez "Oh where's Jeffie"? I have to get up and leave the room.
