Jimmie Johnson is embarking on an historic achievement – possibly winning his fourth straight Sprint Cup championship. Yet many fans still haven’t embraced Johnson and helped make him a fan favorite. Despite his dominance and enormous success, Johnson is typically not considered one of NASCAR’s most popular drivers, trailing Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick and even his own teammate, Jeff Gordon, in most popular driver voting the past few years.
