FORT WORTH, Texas – ThorSport Racing’s Matt Crafton paced Thursday’s final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice in preparation for Friday night’s WinStar World Casino 350 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Crafton, who posted a fast lap of 180.180 mph, was followed in speed by David Gilliland (ThorSport) at 179.766 and Chad McCumbee (SS Green Light Racing) at 178.796.
Circle Bar Racing's Rick Crawford and ThorSport’s Johnny Sauter completed the top five. Positions six through 10 belonged to Kevin Harvick Inc.’s Ricky Carmichael, Billy Ballew Motorsports’ Aric Almirola, Randy Moss Motorsports’ Mike Skinner, KHI’s Ron Hornaday and Circle Bar’s James Buescher.
On-track activities resume for the Truck series with qualifying at 8 p.m. EDT Thursday.
The race is scheduled to begin just after 9 p.m. EDT Friday.
