MARTINSVILLE, Va. – NASCAR is relaxing its maximum of 12 crew members per Camping World Truck Series team for the rescheduled Kroger 250 on Monday at Martinsville Speedway, NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp said Sunday.
Truck teams are limited to 12 total crew members per race weekend, but teams often use non-contract employees to change and carry tires. With the race being rescheduled from Saturday to Monday because of rain, some teams might have to adjust who will be on their pit crew.
Teams will be permitted to change their list of 12 crewmen for Monday but they still cannot have more than 12 per truck, Tharp said.
