Thirty-nine trucks, three more than a full field, are on the preliminary entry list for Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American Commercial Lines 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Notables entered for the race who aren't running the full 25-race schedule include last weekend's winner, Kyle Busch, in the No. 51 Billy Ballew Motorsports entry and Kevin Harvick Inc. drivers Kevin Harvick and Ricky Carmichael, the former motorcycle star.
The race will mark team co-owner Harvick's first Truck start of the season. Carmichael is scheduled to make 15 starts in the team's No. 4 Chevrolet.
Series veteran Dennis Setzer will make his debut in the No. 8 MRD Motorsports entry, while Clay Rogers and Chris Jones will make their first qualifying attempts of the season, respectively.
Gabi Dicarlo, who is running a partial schedule for Doug Stringer Motorsports, is scheduled make her second career qualifying attempt.

Mar 3, 2009 at 8:17 PMWe should LEARN from these "Heros" ---we need MORE major league baseball players dropping back and playing in high school, and MORE professional boxers dropping back into the local Golden Gloves - and MORE college grads with a masters degree in the National Spelling Bee Competition - - these people are missing a GOLDEN opportunity to take advantage of a total miss-match and become a "Hero" - - the way several of the Cup drivers do - - ESPECIALLY the ones with a CUP TEAM BUDGET behind them !! They are the R-E-A-L- Heros ! They must be SOOO proud when they beat up .... the "little guys" - - SOOO proud of their - - - ACHIEVEMENT ???

Mar 4, 2009 at 3:48 PMIf the Cats in the lower divisions are good they should be greatful to be racing against the big dogs to prove their worth. It does happen in the other major leauge sports also. When players get hurt or pick up some bad habits they go to the minors. Pitchers go to develope a "rithem" they call it. There's a Royals double A team in my town and a Cardinals one not to far away and the Cardinals have their triple A team in Memphis. You would be surprised to see who's playing there some nights. The minor league boys always like having the chance to "show out" in front of those scouting types watching how the big league players are coming along. Maybe ya'll are just made because who ever your favorite is driver don't race very much. Smoke and a bunch of them show up at small dirt tracks around all the time. Carl Edwards, Kenny Wallace, Kasey Kahne, Ken Shrader, a bunch. It's a racing world if you like to see racing.

Mar 4, 2009 at 4:22 PMHey Rex - -When the Cup guys show up locally -they DON'T bring their Cup pit crews and budgets with them - They're there, usually just on a one time basis, to promote the local track, and for the fun - not the money, points, and ego!
