Former Truck Series champion Mike Skinner will have sponsorship from International trucks and Monaco recreational vehicles for the 2010 season, his team announced today.

Skinner will be in his second year driving for team owners David Dollar and Randy Moss, who have formed a partnership with HT Motorsports owner Jim Harris and whose team is now named Randy Moss Motorsports with HTM. Skinner, who won the inaugural NCWTS championship in 1995, is third all-time with 28 Truck Series wins.

International has been a sponsor in the series since 2001 with driver Rick Crawford and is the longest-running sponsor in the series. Both International and Monaco are owned by Navistar.

“We think this is a winning formula, backing one of the original series drivers with one of the most committed supporting sponsors,” said Robert Carso, director of marketing and global brand strategy for Navistar’s Engine Group. “Many of our customers are NASCAR fans and promotion of our International truck and Monaco RV brands are a perfect fit. … The combined forces of Randy Moss Motorsports with HTM has delivered the most high-performance capabilities of our tenure in the series.

“Their facilities, personnel, competitiveness and passion are unmatched.”

Skinner finished third in the season standings last year.

“I am so excited about the 2010 season,” Skinner said. “We have partnered with the best sponsors in the garage who believe in what we are doing as a company. We have all the ingredients in place to win [and give] Randy Moss Motorsports with HTM its first NASCAR championship and that’s the goal.”

Randy Moss Motorsports with HTM will field two trucks this season, with a driver for the No. 81 truck to be announced soon.
