General Discussion » Can Tony Jr do for Brad what he couldn't do for Dale?
There weren't that many bad calls on timing and pitstops.
The preliminary entry list for the season-ending Ford 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race includes 37 entries, one without a driver listed.
A handful of young drivers who are not running full time are on the list. Chrissy Wallace returns to the No. 9 Germain Racing Toyota, James Buescher will drive the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota, Keven Wood is in the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford, Tayler Malsam is driving the No. 52 Ken Schrader Racing Toyota, J.R. Fitzpatrick is in the No. 71 TRG Motorsports Chevrolet, and Donny Lia is in the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports Chevrolet.
The Ford 200 will determine the series champion. Bill Davis Racing's Johnny Benson holds a three-point lead over Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Ron Hornaday heading into the event. Practice for the race begins at 5 p.m. EST Thursday, with qualifying at 5 p.m. Friday and the race scheduled for 8 that evening.
Was anyone at fault for the mayhem at the finish of the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway?

Nov 10, 2008 at 7:33 PMHopefully we'll see a great finale with only the TRUCK drivers deciding the final standings - not ruined by CUP drivers who need their egos stroked. Great to see a series withOUT a fabricated phony Championship gimmick like the "Chase" - -Now if the CUP drivers would just STAY IN CUP and quit contaminating the other two series..............

That being said though, I do think the other two series benefit also from having a smattering of Cup guys running in them, if for nothing else then the name recognition of the casual Cup fan who happens to be flipping through the channels and catch the Nationwide race and hear that Clint Bowyer or Carl Edwards or David Ragan or whomever else is leading it or running well.
