Chris Fontaine Racing signs sponsor for Truck race at Dover
Chris Fontaine, driver of the No. 84 Chris Fontaine Racing entry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, will be sponsored by FRAXA Research Foundation for the AAA Insurance 200 at Dover International Speedway on May 29.
FRAXA works to find treatments and a cure for children and adults diagnosed with Fragile X, the most common inherited cause of mental impairment and the most common known cause of autism. FRAXA, which is based in Newburypoint, Mass., has funded more than $17 million in research.
“We at Chris Fontaine Inc. are honored to have the opportunity to work with FRAXA this season," said team owner/driver Fontaine. "NASCAR has the ability to reach so many people and affect such a vast number of lives, we hope with fans evolvement, to have a better understanding and find a cure for those affected by Fragile X Syndrome.”
Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
