Thirty-eight trucks are on the preliminary entry list for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

The race, which will be the first event not run in conjunction with a Sprint Cup Series weekend, has no Cup drivers entered.

The No. 51 Billy Ballew Motorsports truck, which has been driven by Kyle Busch, has Brian Ickler as a driver. Former Sprint Cup driver J.J. Yeley is entered in the No. 73 Tagsby Racing Chevrolet. Also entered is Kansas native Jennifer Jo Cobb in a Cope/Keller Racing truck. Cope himself is entered in one of his trucks as well.

Among entries for teams that have used multiple drivers this year, Chris Fontaine and Chris Jones are in GunBroker.com Racing trucks, Marc Mitchell and Brandon Knupp are in Fast Track Racing entries, and Ben Stancil is in an MB Motorsports truck. TRG Motorsports is also entered with driver J.R. Fitzpatrick, who is running a limited schedule this season.

Key Motorsports, which has entered every race this year, has withdrawn from the event, according to the entry list.

I hate to see start-and-park teams, especially in the Truck Series, but I understand that in races where the winner can't even cover their race costs it's necessary to do so. I just hope that of the 38 trucks entered, at least 36 show up- and that they all do try to actually compete the whole race. But when a set of tires are $2000 and the last place team gets less than $10,000 the small startup teams can't compete.

Yeah, I hate to see the #3 NASCAR Touring Series that probably has the best racing of the three has to see teams struggle just to compete. This Series deserves better & should be rewarded better. I wish NASCAR would step in & help!

Alright JJ Yeley is back in NASCAR, it may not be cup, but he's not complaining.
