Thirty-four teams are on the preliminary entry list for the Copart 200 Camping World Truck Series race scheduled for Friday at the Milwaukee Mile.

There are no Sprint Cup drivers entered, as the Cup drivers will be at Infineon Raceway in California for practice and qualifying Friday. More trucks could be added before Friday for a full 36-truck field.

Part-time drivers competing in full-time trucks will be Ricky Carmichael (Kevin Harvick Inc.), Aric Almirola (Billy Ballew Motorsports) and Brian Ickler (Ballew).

Duane Bischoff, who has competed in the Automobile Racing Club of America truck series, will attempt to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in a family-owned truck.

Practice, qualifying and the race are all scheduled for Friday.

Yep, I can see the Truck Series not surviving like it is now. I wouldn't be surprised to see next year at their second race (provided things don't magically turn around before then) 25 trucks- or less- attempt the race.

The irony in all this is that the truck series week-in-and-week-out has the best racing of all the three touring series' IMHO.The COT is a shoebox on wheels and the Cup races are snooze fests.
