Ward Burton to return to action at Martinsville

Ward Burton will attempt to make his first Nextel Cup Series start in nearly two years when he drives the Morgan-McClure Motorsports No. 4 Chevrolet this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, the track announced in a news release Sunday.

Burton has not competed since Nov. 7, 2004 at Phoenix International Raceway. He has five wins in 356 career Nextel Cup starts.

The No. 4 team has used several drivers this year, including Scott Wimmer, P.J. Jones and Todd Bodine.
