TRG Motorsports' truck team signs Lia for 2008

TRG Motorsports officials announced Friday that NASCAR Modified champion Donny Lia will drive the team's No. 71 Chevrolet in the Craftsman Truck Series this season.
Lia will team with Andy Lally for TRG as the two battle for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors.
"When we were looking at adding a second truck team, it made perfect sense to bring Donny in as our second driver," team principal Kevin Buckler said in a news release. "Donny is a very talented young man, and has won in just about everything he has raced. He's one of the most determined racers out There, and he'll make a great addition to our team. Both he and Andy are true racers, and they are the future of TRG."
Lia has not been approved to race at Daytona International Speedway, so he will make his debut with TRG at California Speedway on Feb. 23.
