Tonight, following the airing of the 2007 series banquet, fans can review Hamilton's racing career and his battle with cancer.
Speed channel will air a 30-minute special on the life of 2004 Craftsman Truck Series champion Bobby Hamilton Sr. at 10:30 p.m. EST today, following its coverage of the 2007 series banquet.
"Bobby Hamilton: Live to Race, Race to Live" focuses on the driver and team owner's climb to became a successful racer despite a lifetime of challenges growing up in Music City, Tenn. The film also chronicles the battle with the head and neck cancer he battled before his death early this year.
