MEXICO CITY - Reed Sorenson blew an engine during final Busch Series practice Friday and will have to start the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 at the rear of the field Sunday at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

Sorenson is still expected to take a qualifying time during Saturday's qualifying session but the Chip Ganassi Racing driver will have move to the back of the field at the start of the race.

There will be 46 drivers attempting to qualify for the 43-car field. There are 30 drivers locked in through owner points, and Randy LaJoie has a champion's provisional he could use. There are 15 drivers fighting for the remaining 12 spots.

Mentioned Drivers: Reed Sorenson
