Sherman to drive for Braun Racing at Memphis, Texas
A Braun Racing spokesperson confirmed Tuesday that Brent Sherman will drive the team's No. 10 Toyota in the upcoming Busch Series races at Memphis at Texas.
Sherman had driven in the first 30 races with McGill Motorsports before leaving the team prior to the Charlotte race. Sherman has no top-10 finishes this year and is 22nd in the Busch points standings.
Dave Blaney, John Andretti, Mike Bliss, John Graham and Brian Vickers have driven Braun's No. 10 this season. Blaney won the pole at California in the car - Toyota's first pole in the series - and posted the No. 10 team's best finish with a pair of thirds, at Nashville in April and at Daytona in July.
The race at Memphis Motorsports Park is Oct. 27, with the Texas Motor Speedway event a week later.
