BRISTOL, Tenn. - Roush Fenway Racing has sponsorship for Greg Biffle and the No. 16 Sprint Cup car for next season, team president Geoff Smith confirmed Saturday.

Four companies will make up the sponsorship, Smith said but declined to elaborate.

Biffle is the only driver whom Roush needed to find a 2008 sponsorship package for.

"Barring something really, really weird that I don't expect, we're all good," Smith said. "We'll announce it at a later date."

As far as sponsorship for the organization's Busch Series teams, Smith said that Discount Tire will return with David Ragan next season and a group of companies will sponsor Carl Edwards.

A third team is being explored, possibly for Travis Kvapil. There will also be select races for Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle and Jamie McMurray.

"We're really pleased with the job Travis has done for us in the truck series," Smith said. "He came in. We believed in his talent. ... We'd like to keep him in our program."

Todd Kluever, who has competed in the Busch Series with Greg Biffle this year, is free to look for other opportunities, Smith said.

"We told him we don't have sponsorship for a program for him for next year and he shouldn't rely on us to do that," Smith said. "He is free to look at other opportunities."

In the Craftsman Truck Series, Roush will field at least two trucks, including one with sponsorship from Northern Tool.

Erik Darnell, who is 10th in the truck standings, will be part of the Roush program somewhere, Smith said.

"Darnell is definitely in our program next year," Smith said. "He's slated to continue in the truck series, but we are looking for opportunities to bring him to the next level. He has earned it and is proving every day and gaining the maturity."
