LOUDON, N.H. - Chase Pistone, a 22-year-old from North Carolina who has been competing in the Hooters Pro Cup Series for Stringer Motorsports, will attempt to make his Busch Series debut July 22 at Martinsville Speedway.
Pistone will drive the No. 32 Chevrolet for team owner Doug Stringer, who also is a co-owner of Braun-Akins Racing.
"We'll run this and maybe one more and see how it goes," Stringer said July 14.
David Pletcher will be the crew chief for the car.
Pistone is fourth in points in the Pro Cup Southern Division but is looking for a ride since Stringer has opted to focus on developing the Busch deal.
Pistone ran in the Craftsman Truck Series race at Martinsville last October and finished 35th. It is his only start in the series.
