DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Richard Childress Racing development driver Timothy Peters will not compete in any more races for the team this season, a team spokesman confirmed Friday.

Peters had competed in seven races in the No. 21 RCR car this year, with a best finish of 13th at Phoenix International Raceway.

The 26-year-old Peters' last race was at Kentucky Speedway in June, where he finished 17th.

Who will drive the No. 21 car when Kevin Harvick is not in the seat is still to be determined.
