Overnight TV numbers for Homestead down

NBC's broadcast of Sunday's Ford 400 Nextel Cup season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway earned a 4.8 overnight rating from Nielsen Media Research and a 9 market share, Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Daily reports. The Daily says the rating is 14.3 percent lower than the 5.6 overnight rating in 2004 but reports that the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market was not reportable because of Hurricane Wilma.
