Overnight Atlanta TV ratings up 7.7 percent

NBC earned an overnight Nielsen Media Research rating of 4.2 and an 8 market share for Sunday's broadcast of the Bass Pro Shops 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Daily reports.
The rating is 7.7 percent higher than the 3.9 NBC earned overnight for the 2005 race.
