NASCAR examined the left front tire of the No. 2 Richard Childress Racing car of Clint Bowyer following the Busch Series race at Martinsville on Saturday, but officials found no problems.

NASCAR has been on the lookout for teams intentionally putting tiny leaks in tires to keep them from building up as much air pressure during long green-flag runs. There was a leak in the valve stem of the RCR tire, but NASCAR found that it was not from an intentional cause.
