NASCAR officials have announced 11 Busch Series penalties following this past weekend's event at Talladega Superspeedway.

Those penalized for rules infractions included Biagi Brothers, Kevin Harvick Inc., Richard Childress Racing and Day Enterprises.

Nathan Homrick, a crew member for Biagi Brothers' No. 4 Dodge driven by Mark Green, was fined $5,000 and indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for illegal possession of NASCAR seals discovered during prequalifying inspection.

KHI crew chiefs Walt Rogers (No. 33 of Tony Stewart) and Gene Nead (No. 77 of Burney Lamar) were both fined and placed on probation until Dec. 31 because of rear spoilers that did not comply with thickness rules. In addition, Stewart and Lamar were each docked 25 driver championship points. DeLana Harvick was penalized 25 owner points for each team's infraction, making a 50-point total loss.

Shane Wilson, crew chief of RCR's No. 21 Chevrolet driven by Kevin Harvick, was fined $10,000 and placed on probation until Dec. 31 because the car's rear quarter panel was too low in postrace inspection. Harvick, who leads the Busch Series driver standings, was docked 25 driver points, and team owner Richard Childress lost 25 owner points.

Finally, Tommy Perkins, crew chief of Day Enterprises' No. 05 Chevrolet driven by Justin Ashburn, was fined $1,000 for an unapproved jacking bolt that was found during prequalifying inspection.
