HAMPTON, Ga. - Juan Pablo Montoya most likely will run the remaining three Busch Series races this year, team owner Chip Ganassi confirmed Sunday morning.
Ganassi was pleased with Montoya's debut, an 11th-place finish at Memphis Motorsports Park.
"The thing I like about him is you don't have to tell him things twice," Ganassi said. "He gets it the first time. It's a matter of getting him in all these different scenarios.
"I thought it was mission accomplished and it couldn't have been better. He'll be in Texas [for Busch]."
Whether Montoya, who will run a full season in the No. 42 Nextel Cup car for Ganassi next year, will make his Cup debut this season remains to be seen, Ganassi said.
"We'll see," Ganassi said. "He's got the right attitude."
