MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Brandon Miller paced the opening Busch Series practice at Memphis Motorsports Park on Friday afternoon.
Miller, in his first race in KHI's No. 77 Chevrolet, paced the field with a lap of 117. 499 mph. Braun Racing's Jason Leffler followed with a fast lap of 117.371 mph. Joe Gibbs Racing's Casey Atwood, Fitz Motorsports' Mike Bliss and Mark Green, driving the No. 99 Michael Waltrip Racing entry for David Reutimann (who is in Atlanta practicing his Cup car), rounded out the top five.
Dario Franchitti, driving the Chip Ganassi Racing No. 42 Dodge, was sixth-fastest as he prepares for his Busch Series debut. JR Motorsports' Brad Keselowski, Team Rensi Motorsports' Bobby Hamilton Jr., CJM Racing's Jason Keller and Kenny Wallace, driving for Jamie McMurray in the No. 26 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, rounded out the top 10.
The Busch Series teams have final practice at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
