General Discussion » What is really wrong with Dale Jr
Only JR knows. He's always said he does not like the COT car. And I think that is stuck in his head. Eventually he will get it and accept it. ( I HOPE ).
Roush Racing driver Jamie McMurray has formed the Jamie McMurray Foundation to promote awareness of and raise funding for research, education and support for individuals and families affected with autism.
McMurray, who drives Roush's No. 26 Ford in the Nextel Cup Series, has been an advocate for the Autism Society of America, with a "Driving Autism Awareness Pledge" campaign in 2005 and has participated in many golf tournaments, auctions for charitable contributions and benefits throughout the year. Plans for 2006 include a Wilmington (Del.) golf outing this week and yet to be determined corporate partnerships.
"Autism knows no boundaries as it throws many obstacles at families with autistic children," said McMurray. "I feel good about spearheading this effort and lending my name to create awareness about this disorder. I firmly believe NASCAR fans are the best, and they are the most generous in giving to good causes such as this."

Sep 4, 2008 at 6:32 AMHello It`s nice to see that the focus on Autism on most levels of community today. The rockartist Tony Mills from Birmingham, Tom Basketts, and the Noregian singer Siv Anita Strickert has composed a tune for the assosiation for autistic children in Norway. All income for the sale of this, goes directly to the assosiation. They have also put together a sample-cd with thirteen artist that will be sold for the same course. So people there is still someone who care for others. Kind regards Kurt Urdshals, Assosiation for autistic children of Norway
