There weren't that many bad calls on timing and pitstops.
DARLINGTON, S.C. - Martinsville Speedway officials say the upcoming Busch Series race will not be held at night as originally planned.
The Goody's 250, scheduled for July 22, has been moved to a 3 p.m. start and to a network slot. The race was originally to be broadcast on TNT, and held in the evening under temporary lighting brought in just for the occasion. NBC will now carry live coverage of the race. That will make the Martinsville event the first NASCAR Busch race on NBC this season and one of only three to be carried on the network this year.
"This is a great opportunity for the Busch Series to get more network television exposure, plus it brings an incredible amount of exposure to Martinsville Speedway," Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said.
