Busch Series driver Jason Leffler will take over Red Horse Racing's No. 1 Toyota in the Craftsman Truck Series for five of the six races left on the 2007 schedule.
Brandon Whitt will drive the truck at Atlanta Motor Speedway while Leffler tends to his Busch commitments with Braun Racing at Memphis Motorsports Park.
Leffler replaces David Green, who had replaced Aaron Fike.
"We are very thankful to David Green for helping us get our feet back under us," Red Horse Racing General Manager and owner Tom DeLoach said. "David helped us move forward as we continue to grow Red Horse Racing, but we're still trying to find out what we need to do to make our team better. We're making changes to make our program stronger as we prepare for a championship run in 2008."
Leffler, who has one victory in 40 career truck starts, makes his debut with the team at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 6. The Busch Series is off that weekend.
"This is a team who has won races in the series, and I'm hoping that I can help them return to victory lane," Leffler said.
Leffler is fourth in the Busch points standings, the highest non-Nextel Cup driver, and has one victory this year, at O'Reilly Raceway Park.
