Kansas overnight ratings down

NBC's coverage of Sunday's Banquet 400 Nextel Cup race at Kansas Speedway earned a 3.4 overnight rating from Nielsen Media Research and a 7 share,
Street and Smith's SportsBusiness Daily reports.
The rating is 5.5 percent lower than the 3.6/7 overnight figures last year, and 15 percent below the 4.0/8 in 2004.
