Meg, I liked the flowers, too! Especially the gold/yellow one. I would much much rather look at those than the wrecks. I opened one of the wrecks and ignored...

CONCORD, N.C. -- Kasey Kahne will not test Tuesday at Lowe's Motor Speedway after a hard crash Monday during the Aaron's 499 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Kahne said he plans to get approval Wednesday to test on the second day of the two-day test in Charlotte. He said he will not go to see Dr. Jerry Petty, a Charlotte, N.C., neurosurgeon, until Wednesday morning.
"I feel good," Kahne said Tuesday on a teleconference. "My left hip and my shoulder and my elbow are just a little bit bruised just from hitting something or getting hit hard.
"I've been a lot sorer after other wrecks. I need to get cleared tomorrow."
Asking to catch his breath for a minute after the accident, Kahne said that the safety crews determined on his ride to the infield medical center that he needed to be examined further before getting cleared to get back in a car. Kahne said he opted not to go to the hospital because he didn't feel he needed to go.
Hermie Sadler substituted for him for nine laps after the accident.
No one filled in for Kahne in Evernham Motorsports's No. 9 Dodge as the test on the repaved Lowe's Motor Speedway track got under way Tuesday morning. The No. 9 hauler did arrive at the track to get the cars set up.
"They're taking the day off and getting the cars ready," Kahne said. "I'm the only driver of the No. 9. Hermie filled in yesterday and did a good job to get us a couple of points, but to go test, that's my job, and I'll be doing it tomorrow."
Among the drivers testing at the track outside Charlotte are Bill Elliott in the No. 00 Michael Waltrip Racing Dodge in preparation of his five-race schedule, which will begin July 9 at Chicagoland. Johnny Sauter is testing a No. 70 Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet for possible future races, including the Coca-Cola 600 at LMS.
