GM teams, engineers collaborating on new Chevrolet engine

With the goal of having a new engine approved by NASCAR for next season, four Chevrolet teams are working in conjunction with GM engineers to develop the best power plant possible.

Toyota's move to Nextel Cup next year is one reason for the change, but the teams also want to catch up on technological advances since introducing the SB2 design in 1998.
