DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Chip Ganassi Racing continued its impressive string of Rolex 24 At Daytona victories as Sprint Cup drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Dario Franchitti teamed with road-course aces Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas to win the third consecutive title for Ganassi.

Leading for the final three hours and 18 minutes on the 3.65-mile road course, the Ganassi team wasn't challenged after the Michael Shank Racing team, which included Cup Series driver AJ Allmendinger, blew a tire and suffered suspension damage.

"Everybody on the team ... knows what they're capable of doing and achieving and it's just a matter of giving them the right tools to do it," Ganassi said.

Unofficially, the Ganassi team won by more than two laps over the Bob Stallings Racing team, which included two-time defending Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

It was the third win in the prestigious race for Pruett, the second for Montoya and the first for Rojas and Franchitti.

The drivers kept their Lexus out of trouble to outlast the 66-car field.

Penske Racing's Kurt Busch was part of a Penske driver lineup that included Helio Castroneves and they finished third, six laps down.

TRG Motorsports truck series driver Andy Lally finished 10th and second in the production-based GT class.

Red Bull Racing's Allmendinger, whose team led 118 laps, had to settle for 14th after the suspension problem.

Michael Waltrip Racing's Michael McDowell finished 15th for the Spirit of Daytona team.

Veteran Cup driver John Andretti was part of a team owned by racing executive Tony George. That team finished 25th.

Maybe the most notable driver in the field was actor Patrick Dempsey, a 24-hours rookie, who was 39th.
