Foyt IV lands another ride
Tuesday, May 02, 2006
A.J. Foyt IV, who recently lost his ride in the No. 38 Busch Series car following the Akins Motorsports and Braun Racing merger, will drive the No. 14 FitzBradshaw Racing Dodge in Friday night's Circuit City 250 at Richmond International Raceway, according to the entry list released Tuesday.
Foyt, a development driver for Evernham Motorsports, is in his first year of stock-car racing.
The No. 14 car had been driven mostly by Tracy Hines this year.
Joel Kauffman, who did not compete last weekend at Talladega, will return to the seat of the No. 12 FitzBradshaw Racing car at Richmond.
