Wood Brothers/JTG Racing officials announced Friday that Bill Elliott will drive the team's No. 21 Sprint Cup Ford during Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway next month.
Elliott will test the No. 21 Jan. 14-16 at Daytona and will drive in the Budweiser Shootout, the Gatorade Duels and the Daytona 500 - though since the No. 21 team finished outside the top 35 in owners points in 2007 Elliott is not guaranteed a starting spot in the 500.
Elliott drove in 20 races last year for the team.
The driver lineup for the remainder of the 2008 season has not been announced, though Marcos Ambrose is scheduled to drive the No. 21 in 12 events.
Primary sponsorship for Elliott at Daytona will be Little Debbie Snack Cakes.
