Morgan-McClure Motorsports and driver Ward Burton have agreed to put Todd Bodine in the team's No. 4 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series entry in this weekend's Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in an effort to evaluate performance, according to a team release.
"Ward has worked hard for us this year; he is a good driver and a friend," MMM President Tim Morgan said. "Todd has been helpful to us in the past and has agreed to step in and help us benchmark our efforts as we get ready for the 2008 season. ...
"We are proud to have State Water Heaters back as a sponsor for our team next year. We are currently in the process of negotiating additional sponsorship and selecting a driver for the upcoming 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup season."
