Marcos Ambrose is raising money for the Animal Adoption League by auctioning the race suit he wore in the July 8, 2006, Craftsman Truck Series race.

It was for that race, at Kentucky Speedway, that he won his first NASCAR pole position and became the first Australian to do so in NASCAR.

The Animal Adoption League serves Charlotte, N.C., and surrounding areas.

Fans can bid on the suit on eBay, and more information is posted at www.marcosambrose.com.
